EDMONTON, Alberta – With a one-week break between the “Street Fight in Toronto” and Sunday’s Edmonton Indy, some thought cooler heads would prevail after a week off from the hostilities.
Think again.
These guys didn’t even make it through Saturday’s “Fast Six” without hot tempers flaring. This time it was Ryan Hunter-Reay and Oriol Servia that got in each other’s faces after the second round of qualifications that determined the drivers advancing into the Fast Six. Hunter-Reay was trying to get into the final round of six but was impeded by Servia’s car. Hunter-Reay qualified seventh and Servia eighth and after the session was over he climbed out of his race car and confronted the driver from Spain.
Heated words were exchanged by the two before they went to their respective...
